What is Faith?

                                               What Is Faith?
Faith is the evidence of things hoped for.
God is Love. Therefore, we hope in God’s love. Our faith is the evidence of our hope in God’s love.
Faith without works is dead. If Faith dies then hopes dies. If hope dies then so does our love for God.
Just as the wind blows and we see it not, yet we feel it’s comfort, so is God’s love for us.
Just as the leaves blowing in the wind are evidence of the wind, so our faith is evidence of God’s love.
When faith dies the leaves no longer blow in the wind. When the leaves no longer blow in the wind our hope fades, as does our love for God.
So, when God’s love is poured out into our hearts, we have hope. When we have hope, we have faith.
Faith is power. Faith is action. Faith is good works. By our good works we show the world our hope and God’s love.
Jesus Christ gave us evidence of God’s love by His great faith.
When we accept Christ into our hearts, we are filled with God’s love.
When we are filled with God’s love, we have hope. When we have hope, we have strength to show our faith by our good works.
Love begets hope. Hope begets faith. Faith begets good works.
Now abide faith, hope and love. The greatest of these is love.
Most people think followers of Christ are stupid and weak. Yet,it  is followers of Christ who have the greatest understanding and the greatest strength.
The world lives in ignorance and weakness. They think their flesh gives them power. When in reality it makes the spirit, the inner-man, weak and the eyes of understanding blinded. Followers of Christ live in a world full of people who are full of selfish lusts and selfish ambitions.
The ways of the flesh and its desires are too strong and too enticing for most people to give up.
Therefore, the people of the world fear giving up their desires of the flesh. Their fear causes hatred toward those who don’t live according to the flesh, but according to Christ.
So, it is with great strength and compassion that christians show love and mercy to a world that hates them.
That is why the paths of the lord are so difficult for most to follow. For all the paths of the Lord are mercy and truth.
In a world full of hatred and lies, it is difficult to see mercy and truth. Yet, the world is full of God’s mercy.
Christ is our example of God’s mercy towards us. Therefore, when we put on Christ we find mercy and truth, and the Light that shines on our path to the Lord.
When the world and all its hatred comes against you, and you know not what to do. When the enemy, satan the devil of old, brings upon you more pain and shame than you can bear, your faith is shattered. Your hope is nearly gone. It is the knowing that God always and unconditionally loves you that gives you back your hope. Which gives you back your strength for good works.
When we are in our most broken and shameful state of sorrow, it is then that God’s love is made perfect within us.

Thank you O’God for Your gracious, precious, most merciful and unconditional Love toward us, in that Christ died for the ungodly.

Blessed be the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Many of the words and phrases are direct qoutes from the Bible. Mainly from the writings of Paul and Psalms.

I do not agree with the way most christians live their lives. I feel that most are two-faced hypocrites. He who says he knows God and has not love is a liar. No one is perfect. Christians often forget that it is by Grace that they were saved and they look down their hypocritical, self-righteous noses at the ungodly people.
Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written: “ This people honor Me with their lips, But their heart is far from me. And in vain they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men”
“For with what judgement you judge, you will be judged; and with what measure you use it will be measured back to you. “and why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye ,but do not consider the plank in your own eye? “Hypocrite!....
“ Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord’, shall enter the kingdom of heaven...”  “Many will say to Me in that day,’Lord, Lord’, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ “ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’
“Strive to enter through the narrow gate, for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter and will not be able”. “When once the Master of the house has risen up and shut the door, and you begin to stand outside and knock at the door, saying,’Lord,Lord, open for us’, and He will answer and say to you, ‘I do not know you, where are you from,’... ‘for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thristy and you gave Me no drink; ‘I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.’... ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to the least  of these, you did not do it to Me.’
Christians decieve themselves with their “soup kitchens” and “charity donations”. There are many types of people in society that christians hate, ignore and/or never pray for.
Why does a poor man feel akward going to church? Because, it’s full of hypocrites!
Christians know better than to love only those who love them, Right? It makes christians feel good to have mercy for those who they think deserve it. Hypocrites!
Christ died for the ungodly!
